Simply visit http://gg.gg/bhspypx to add your comments on the night. Please add the group name, or number, so that the children know who your comments are addressed to. The feed will be open for some time after the exhibition if you want to add more comments later. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.

This week in photos….
For the remainder of the year, all maths lessons will be held in the children’s usual class homerooms. Most of the maths that will be taking place will all be related to our PYP Exhibition eg. devising questionnaires, surveying out in the field, collating results, formulating tables and graphs, making generalisations etc. Some stand-alone units will be taking place outside of Exhibition time and these topics include finishing off our fractions and decimals unit, probability, location, angles and time.
REHEARSE! REHEARSE! REHEARSE!
The children need to rehearse the song words ready for their performance on Tuesday night and also on Wednesday to the community and school.
All of the children’s chosen independent and group English work should be finished by now and should either be printed and in the journals or filmed and edited and ready to play on the evening. If your children’s’ English component isn’t quite complete…this is what they ned to be working on over the weekend. They also need to get their PYPX journals up to date! This includes….every page needs a title and maybe a blurb too and their contents page needs to be completed. They also need to stick in their sources/bibliography etc so they could be making sure all of the sources they have used are on their doc and ready to print.
See above in the English box!
Thought of the Week….
So many adults have helped your children get where they are at this point in the PYPX…maybe you could discuss with them how they can show their appreciation for all they have done for them (and us!) Lots and lots of teachers, EAs and parents have given up their extra or free time to work tirelessly with us. We all thank them so much but as they probably won’t be reading this it would be great if the children to gather together and think about what they can do.
Environmental Tip….…stop buying fruit that’s been wrapped in plastic!
