What a wonderful week!
We had an author from Australia come to share with us. Mrs Pickering had her Diwali assembly and we had a group of refugee women from ‘ANEW’ come and make bracelets with us. This week the prospective Year 6 house leaders shared with us their vision for their house. We heard some great speeches and had to vote to select the best people for the job.

Migration can have an impact on people and society
Lines of Inquiry:
- The reasons why people migrate (causation)
- Migration throughout history (causation)
- The challenges, risks and opportunities of migration (perspective)
Next week we will be choosing our personal inquiry interests and beginning to use our new skills to research.
In strand math we are continuing with the concept of location and consolidating our compass point bearings to help us with position and movement.
We have also been using coding to use our skills with coordinates.
There was no Golden Book this week due to school photos.
Home reading should continue as normal.
Children can also access Mathletics and Reading Eggpress.
Ms. Priya is overjoyed that almost all of the camp replies are in. Well done to you, but, if you are one of the few families who are yet to send in the notes please do so as soon as possible so we can complete the preparation for camp.
