Year 3 Update Wk 35
We would like to take this opportunity to say have a happy and safe summer to all families. Wishing you all a lovely summer holiday and see you in August.
Year 3 Team
Mr Thompson
Our last and final guest speaker for this unit was Mr Thompson. The children found out about what his skills, responsibilities are within BHS. As well as all the people he collaborates with.
Ask your child to show you the GoogleSlides job profiles they have been creating of all the guest speakers. They have worked so hard on these and their knowledge and ICT skills are extensive.
Year 6 Production
Year 3 absolutely loved the Year 6’s production of Alibaba, all the hard work that they put into making it such a success. The singing, dancing, speaking, costumes, props and production of the whole show was fantastic. Well done to all of the Year 6 children and the adults involved.
3M PTA Raffle Ticket Reward Party
3M has a fantastic afternoon celebrating their reward for selling the most raffle tickets in Y1-3. Thank you to the PTA for helping organise a great afternoon.
People collaborate towards a common goal
Lines of Inquiry

The children have been working hard on their Summative Assessments. Ask your child to share how they chose the present the information they had learnt.

RECENTLY IN YEAR 3, WE HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF INSTANCES OF ITEMS GOING MISSING. AFTER SPEAKING TO THE CHILDREN ON EACH OCCASION, THE ITEMS WERE RETURNED TO SCHOOL THE NEXT DAY. WHILST, I AM PLEASED THAT THE CHILDREN HAVE REFLECTED ON THEIR ACTIONS AND RETURNED THE ITEM TO SCHOOL, I AM DISAPPOINTED TO HAVE TO SHARE THIS NEWS WITH PARENTS. PLEASE CAN YOU REMIND YOUR CHILDREN THAT ANY ITEMS THEY BRING TO SCHOOL SHOULD BE LABELLED WITH THEIR NAMES AND IF IT IS SOMETHING VERY PRECIOUS TO THEM, IT SHOULD NOT BE BROUGHT TO SCHOOL.
