Other information
Over the past month the Year One children have thoroughly enjoyed their art lessons with Mrs Yu. Over the summer break it would be great if the children could explore their creative side by engaging in free play art and craft activities. Art and craft is great for encouraging creativity and imagination as well as developing fine motor skills by using paint brushes, scissors and glue. It is a good idea to have a box of art materials that the children can access at anytime. Items to include in the box are: paints, glue, scissors, tape, different mark making tools such as felt tip pens, chalks and crayons, different types of paper, glitter, sequins, thread, googly eyes etc. Stationery shops all across Hong Kong stock art and craft materials suitable for children so go and explore and enjoy being creative with your child.
