The teachers and staff attending the camps will do their best to post photos of all the children at some point, although this cannot be guaranteed. The main responsibility of the adults is the care and safety of the children.

Conflict – Inquiry
Here are some of the questions/issues our students have been investigating;
It’s ‘Create’ time!
Transdisciplinary Theme: Sharing the Planet
Central Idea- Reaching a resolution during periods of conflict is influenced by the actions and reactions of all involved.
Lines of Inquiry – We will inquire into.
Causes of conflict (causation, perspective)
Conflict resolution and management (responsibility)
Our responsibility as a member of a community. (Responsibility)
Students have been working towards their ‘create’ where they have been taking ownership of how to share their learning.
Number Maths – Operations
Central Idea –We use the same rules for the computation of decimal fractions as for whole numbers
How are the four rules related to each other?
In what ways can we record the rules for a pattern in addition and subtraction?
Central Idea – Conversion of units and measurements allows us to make sense of the world we live in.
In Number Math, the children are sharing strategies around solving multiplication and division problems. They have been taking it in turns to be the teacher for one another and explain their thinking and step by step process to solve more complex questions.
In Strand Math, we will be moving on to the properties of 3D shape. This will involve exploring nets and constructing shapes with different materials.
In classes, we have read ‘Half A Man’ and paid close attention to the changing relationship between Michael and his grandpa. The children have used context clues to make predictions, pick up on character traits and add detail to the story behind Grandpa’s journey.
