Costumes for Year 6 production will be provided in school. Members of staff have been working hard to gather and source various outfits, props and accessories required for the ‘Bugsy Malone’ production.
If you do have anything at home you feel would help with production and would be happy for it to be used please contact one of the Year 6 teachers.
We are very grateful for any help, so all welcome. It is not an expectation for any families to go out and buy costumes. Unless you have been contacted separately regarding outfits, all costumes are being provided/ worked on in school.
Some of the children will be primarily working on costume design as part of their learning contracts so we are excited to include their contributions and learning within the production.
Even though it has been a short week in school, Year 6 have been working tirelessly towards production. Children have been rehearsing lines, perfecting pitch and volume for songs, learning dance moves, sewing and stitching costumes, putting together trailers, creating programmes, decorating the hall and designing props. That is just to name a few, the children have put in an incredible effort on and off stage and are very excited to perform next week.
