After such a successful and enjoyable market day in December, Year 5 have been busy this week counting up the money raised by each business as well as reflecting on the unit. The children worked incredibly hard to design, produce, advertise and run a business and many valuable skills were gained along the way. There was such a wonderful atmosphere to market day last term and the children were thrilled with how successful the the unit was over all. They overcame a number of challenges which they may have encountered throughout the unit and built strong, hard working relationships with their business members.
Thank you to everyone for all of your hard work, support and energy last term- it was a brilliant experience for the children.
It has been lovely to have the children back after the holidays, all excited to see their friends and ready for the new term. Many stories from holidays have been shared as well as setting ourselves goals for 2020! The children have been thinking about what they would like to see more of and less of this year to support them this year.
