Year 3 Update Week 9
First Week Back In Year 3!
It has been back to business in Year 3 and we kicked off the new half term with a new Unit. Ask your children about the new Unit Of Inquiry we have started. We had an exciting time at the pitch, it was refreshing to enjoy the cooler weather and cleaner air. Don’t forget that it is the Diwali assembly on Monday and all students are to come to school in colourful, casual clothes. We have been learning about persuasive language and revisiting some number concepts in maths. If you came to the camp evening on Wednesday, thank you. Please send in completed forms and cheques to school as soon as possible.

Addition and Subtraction are related and are used to solve problems

The children will be translating their understanding of place value into solving calculations accurately. There are new activities open on Mathletics to support their learning.
