This coming week the children will be learning about why we feel different emotions and what to do when we are not feeling in control. We will be continuing with our circle times and Information Literacy lessons.

and linking multiplication and division facts.
Mathletics passwords are in your child’s diary. Please make sure that an adult supports your child when working through the activities.
Next week the children will continue to learn and understand about the features that makes a persuasive/ exposition text by highlighting a good example of a persuasive text. and writing a checklist that will prompt writing. We will especially be focussing on expositions about friends. Also this week the children will be collecting vocabulary related to collaboration skills.
Over the next few weeks we will continue to look at the comprehension strategy making connections. The children will make links between the text and what they already know. They will be looking at text-to-self, text-to-text and text-to-world connections.
