Year 3 Update Wk 1

Welcome back to a new school year, hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable summer. We look forward to meeting you at Meet the Teacher on Tuesday 29th August.

Please can you use Gateway to complete the e-notice for the airport trip on Friday. E-mails were sent out earlier this week with the information about this trip. 

Effective comcmuicantion can be enhanced through different methods.  

Next week the children will be tuning into our new Unit of Inquiry and completing their pre-assessment. 

 

Next week we will begin our units on place value and shape and space. 

Mathletics passwords are in your child’s diary.

Next week the children will start borrowing home readers. Year 3 will read books from Reading Eggspress or Big Universe on a Monday and Friday. They will borrow home readers on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. More information will be shared at Meet the Teacher.
