Unit 6 Games – Handball
Unit 6 Games -football
The Year Twos have concluded their football this week with an inter house class tournament. Ask them how their house team got on! During the unit the focus was on attacking, defending and team work.
PMP
Thanks to the Year Two parents who have supported the PMP programme over the last two years. During their two years of PMP they have focussed on balance, locomotion, hand eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills and many other skills. During the last week of PMP the Year Twos will get to choose their favourite PMP stations.
Unit 6 Games – Hockey
Unit 6 Health Related Fitness
The Year Fours have finished their unit on health related fitness. It was linked to their current class unit on digital technology. They have explored different ways of keeping fit and looked at how digital technology can help them keep fit. They used fit bit trackers to monitor their fitness.
Unit 6 Individual Pursuits -swimming
The Year Fours have been unlucky with the weather and had two of their three swimming lessons cancelled due to thunderstorm warnings and bad weather. Hopefully their last session next week will be in perfect sunshine!
Unit 6 -Playground Games
The Year 5s have just finished a unit on playground games where they played a variety of games which required the use of tactics and focussed on different fundamental skills.
Unit 6 Individual Pursuits -swimming
The Year Fives have been luckier with the weather and have had all their swimming sessions. The sessions focus have been on stroke improvement.
Unit 6 Invasion Games
This unit has focussed on the different sports they have learnt in their six years of PE at Beacon Hill. Ask them what their favourite sport was!
Unit 6 Movement Composition Dance
As part of their production the Year Six students have been looking at how dance can enhance a show. Some of the Year Sixes were chosen to be dancers for their Year Six production.
Congratulations to Natalee (6H).She was chosen to be the HK flag bearer for the HK rugby team for their Asian Division One rugby match against Korea. A very proud and memorable moment for Natalee.
